18 to 30 months: Toddler
Toddlers have lots of energy and curiosity and we, at Oak Tree, help focus that into an opportunity to learn and mature.
Developing Cognitively, Socially and Emotionally
In our toddler program, for children up-to 30 months, we encourage learning through the use of all senses. Sensory activities build children’s awareness and begin an excitement for learning.
We focus on developing your child’s fine motor skills such as using utensils and pencils that increase hand-eye coordination.
They’ll learn shapes, colours and fundamental academics. Music and dance will also be incorporated as well as arts and crafts that help build creativity.
We help encourage independence such as allowing children to dress themselves and problem solve when issues arise. We also assist with the potty-training process.
Teaching children to use appropriate means of communication and expressions is highly encouraged.
Your child will develop their social skills and self-esteem while at Oak Tree. Plus, build peer relationships and have fun.
We offer daily reports to parents on your child’s day.
